A&D Hydraulics shop floor with heavy equipment being serviced

FOUNDED 2014 • FAMILY-OWNED

80 YEARS OF HYDRAULIC KNOW-HOW.

A&D Hydraulics was built on decades of real-world experience — not a franchise, not a general shop. A family that grew up fixing hydraulics and never stopped.

OUR STORY

STARTED IN THE PITS. BUILT FOR THE JOB SITE.

A&D Hydraulics opened in 2014, but the experience behind it goes back decades. Mike Sr. spent his career in the garbage and refuse industry — the kind of work where a hydraulic failure at 3 AM means a fleet of trucks sitting idle and a city's worth of routes falling behind. You learn fast, you fix it right, and you don't get a second chance to get it wrong.

Mikey grew up in that world, learning hydraulics from the ground up alongside his father. Between the two of them, they bring 80 years of hands-on hydraulic experience to every cylinder, hose, and field call that comes through the door.

What started as deep expertise in refuse equipment grew into a full heavy equipment hydraulic repair operation — excavators, cranes, loaders, presses, and everything in between. The work is the same: fix it fast, fix it right, and stand behind it.

THE TEAM

Mikey & Sarah

A&D is run by Mikey and Sarah — a tight operation where the people answering the phone are the same people making sure the work gets done right.

Mikey

Co-Owner & Lead Tech

Grew up in the hydraulics trade alongside his father Mike Sr. Decades of hands-on repair work across refuse, construction, and heavy equipment. When a cylinder comes in, Mikey has likely seen that failure before.

Sarah

Co-Owner & Operations

Keeps the shop running — scheduling, quoting, and making sure every job moves from drop-off to pickup without the runaround. If you've called the shop, you've talked to Sarah.

40+ Years Hydraulic Experience

The foundation of A&D's Hydraulics started in the refuse industry taught by Mike Sr. that hydraulic failures don't wait — and neither should the repair. His knowledge is built into every job the shop turns out.

WHY IT MATTERS

NOT A GENERAL SHOP. A HYDRAULIC SHOP.

Most repair shops fix a little of everything. We fix hydraulics — all day, every day. That focus is the difference between a comeback and a repair that holds.

80 years of combined experience

Mike Sr. and Mikey together have seen nearly every hydraulic failure mode across refuse, construction, and heavy equipment. That depth doesn't come from a manual.

Roots in refuse — built for pressure

The garbage industry runs 24/7 and tolerates zero downtime. That's the standard A&D was built to. Every repair is done like a fleet is waiting on it.

Hydraulics only

We don't split focus between transmissions, engines, and bodywork. Hoses, cylinders, pumps, and valves — that's all we do, and we do it better for it.

Family-owned since day one

No franchise, no corporate overhead. Sarah and Mikey own it, run it, and answer for every job that leaves the shop. The buck stops here.
